It is mainly used for conveying municipal sewage, feces or liquid containing solid particles such as fibers and paper scraps. The temperature of the conveying medium is usually not greater than 80℃. Because the medium to be transported contains easily wound or bunched fibers. Therefore, the flow channel of the pump is easy to be blocked. Once the pump is blocked, the pump can not work normally, or even burn the motor, resulting in poor sewage discharge. It has a serious impact on urban life and environmental protection.
How to extend the service life of sewage pump
1. It is forbidden to start the power supply with abnormal voltage
Because the low-voltage supply line is long, it is common for the end voltage of the line to be too low. When the phase voltage is lower than 198 volts and the line voltage is lower than 342 volts, the speed of the sewage pump motor will decrease. When the speed is less than 70% of the rated speed, the start centrifugal switch will be closed, resulting in heating and even burning windings and capacitors after the start winding is energized for a long time. On the contrary, excessive voltage causes the motor to overheat and burn out the windings. Therefore, in the operation of sewage pump, the operator must observe the power supply voltage value at any time, if it is below 10% of the rated voltage, above 10% of the rated voltage, the motor should stop running, find out the cause and troubleshoot.
2. Confirm the correct rotation direction of the motor
The direction of rotation of the motor should be made clear. Now there are many types of sewage pumps that can discharge water when they turn forward and reverse, but when the reverse is small, the current is large, and the reverse time will damage the motor winding.
3. Installation of leakage protector
Leakage protector is also called life saver, its role from the "life saver" these three words can be understood. Because the sewage pump works under water, it is easy to cause electric power loss and even electric shock accident. If a leakage protector is installed, as long as the leakage value of the sewage pump exceeds the action current value of the leakage protector (generally not more than 30 mA), the leakage protector will cut off the power supply of the sewage pump to ensure reliability, while avoiding leakage and waste of energy.
4, cable installation and submersible pump insulation resistance requirements
When installing the sewage pump, the cable should be overhead and the power cable should not be too long. Do not force the cable when the sewage pump is launched or put up, so as not to cause the rupture of the power line. Do not sink into the mud when the sewage pump is working, otherwise it will lead to poor heat dissipation of the motor and burn out the motor winding. When installed, the insulation resistance of the motor should not be less than 0.5 megohm.
5. Avoid frequent switching
Do not frequently switch the sewage pump, this is because when the pump stops running, reflux will be generated. If the pump is started immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning windings. Due to the high current when starting, frequent starting will also burn out the winding of the sewage pump motor.
6, do not let the sewage pump long-term overload work
In order to avoid long-term overload of sewage pump work, do not pump sand content of large water and observe whether the current value is specified on the nameplate at any time, if the current is found to be too large, should stop inspection. In addition, the water pump dehydration operation time should not be too long, so as not to make the motor overheated and burned.
7. Pay attention to daily maintenance
Usually to check the motor, such as found cracks in the lower cover, rubber seal ring damage or failure, should be replaced or repaired in time, to avoid water infiltration into the sewage pump.
