There are many reasons why the pump flow rate is too small. First, if the pump flow rate is too small, observe the pump flow rate and head data on the water pump label to see if the water pump is incorrectly matched. It is not surprising that some industrial ice water machines produced by refrigeration companies may be of substandard quality.
Secondly, if the flow and head of the water pump and other parameters of the chiller water pump specifications data match, then, it should be checked whether the service life of the water pump is too long, whether the water pump is worn out or damaged, and whether the pipeline is damaged or leaked. Of course, it is also possible that the parts have not been used for a long time, rust and oxidation, and there may be foreign bodies blocked in the pump (there may also be foreign bodies blocked in the water pipe).
Some people think that the reverse rotation of the pump motor will lead to too small flow and engine damage, but in fact, the motor reversal at a certain speed, will not cause damage to the pump and motor, and the flow is too small will not be caused by the reversal, in the case of reversal, the pump is difficult to water.
Finally, if the water pump flow rate is too small, it should also be considered whether it is the setting problem of the chiller system.
The flow of water pump is too large, in addition to the cold water machine system set up to run data might be the problem, you should also consider whether the chiller pump head, flow parameters, such as bigger, demand more than the normal range, believe that the problem of cold water vendors would question, also is not matching the pump used in the cold water machine.
Too small and too much water pump flow is not a good thing. Many users simply pursue the water pump flow, thinking that the large water pump flow will make the cooling effect of the chiller good and the cooling capacity is large. In fact, the water pump power will make the chiller pressure larger, and may cause many other faults, and even reduce the working life of the chiller.
